We all know that laundry can be a daunting task when the basket is overflowing in your bedroom. But even more so, the constant upkeep required in the laundry room is just as intimidating.

However, one TikTok user has come up with a fascinating life hack that can ensure your laundry machines stay in working order and can even prevent fires in your home.

Cleaning Out Those Lines

Having a dryer in your home is ideal for the winter and fall months when drying clothes outside on the line can be a difficult task.

However, if you don’t spend time cleaning out the hose on the back of the dryer, the collection of dust, lint, and other microscopic particles could become a fire risk.

But, instead of using the typical tool to clear out the dust and lint from within, he has a better idea—employ a leaf blower.

Quick Removal of Dirt and Dust

In the clip, he first moves the dryer from against the wall. After which, the TikTok star lines up his leaf blower with the hose that flows from the washroom to the home’s exterior and turns it on.

After a few seconds, dust can be seen flying out of the hose pipe and into his garden. Many viewers were amazed and shocked to see how much dust and lint came out during his experiment.

Achieving Some Incredible Results

Fans of the TikToker were impressed with the result, and many left positive comments on the video.

However, it’s better to be safe than sorry. Using this method will ensure that your vent stays in working order, and you won’t have lint all over your laundry room.

Here Comes the Fun Part

Once the vent pipe has been removed and the dryer is out of the way, it’s time for the fun part to begin.

Begin by placing the leaf blower inside the vent pipe, put on some headphones, and blow that lint out of the pipe and into the garden.

One Final Problem You May Encounter

After you’ve finished cleaning out the pipe and you’ve swept up the garden, it’s time to reattach the vent cover outside.
